* Abu Umamah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a person who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a person who avoids lying even if he were joking , and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a person who made his character good." Narrated from Anas by Ahmad (21:24-25 #13298) and Abu Ya`la (6:379) in their Musnads, the latter with a chain of trustworthy narrators according to Shaykh Husayn Asad; and from Abu Hurayra by Ibn Majah and Ahmad with al-tâfih ("the worthless man") and al-safîh ("the impudent fool") instead of fuwaysiq (minor scoundrel). Both narrations are fair (hasan) according to Shaykh Shu`ayb al-Arna'ut.

'Aayeshah (Ra) then inquired: 'What of those who have not lost any children from among your ummah?'
