Say (O Muhammad SAW): If you love Allâh then follow me, Allâh will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. {Surah Al-Imran: Ayah 31}

* 'Whoever desires to have an increase in his sustenance and in his age, should join family ties.'That is, he should fulfil the rights of his next of kin and assist them physically and financially according to his ability. (Bukhari)

* "Say: 'O My servants who have transgressed against your own souls, do not despair of God's mercy, for God forgives all sins. It is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" [Quran, 39:53]

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "I would not trade this verse for the whole world." (Tirmidhi)

* The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "Whoever wishes to (enter Paradise)...should treat people as he wishes to be treated by them." (Muslim, Hadith 852)

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said “All my Community will be excused except those who are blatant. And it is from blatancy for one to perform an act at night and to wake up and tell something that they did such-and-such, while Allah had concealed it for them. They slept under the cover of Allah, and they rended Allah’s covering from themselves in the morning.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said “Believers see their sins as if they were sitting at the foot of a mountain and feared that it may fall on them, while the corrupt see their sins as if they were a mere fly that flew by their nose.” [Bukhari]

* "Pilgrims and those performing 'Umrah are Allah's guests; their prayers are answered and their supplications for forgiveness are granted" (Nasa'i) "and Allah's guests are three: A pilgrim performing Hajj, one performing 'Umrah, and a person who fights in the cause of Allah." (Ibn Khuzaimah)

* Narrated Rabi'ah ibn Ka'b: "I was with God's Messenger (peace be upon him) one night and I brought him water. . .He said to me: 'Ask (anything you like).' I said: 'I ask your company in Paradise.' (The Prophet) replied: 'Then help me to achieve this for you by devoting yourself often to (acts of prayer).'" (Muslim, Hadith 235)

* The Prophet also said: "Make frequent prostrations before God, for you will not make one prostration without God raising you a degree and removing a sin from you because of it." (Muslim, Hadith 234)

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said "I have been granted upon five things which were not granted to any other Prophet before me: I have gained victory with awe from the period of one month; the earth has been made pure and a a masjid for me, so whenever the time of prayer comes for anyone of you, he should praty whereever he is; the spoils of waer have been made lawful for me, and these were never made law2ful to anyone before me; I have been granted shafa'a (intrercession)p; and every prphet was sent particularly to his own people, whereas I havbe been sent to all mankind." (Bukhari & Muslim)

* Aisha related that once the Prophet (SAW) came while a woman was sitting with me. He said, 'Who is she?' I replied, 'She is so and so,' and told him about her (excessive) praying. He said disapprovingly, "Do (good) deeds that are within your capacity (without being overtaxed), because God does not get tired (of giving rewards) but (surely) you will get tired. The best (act of worship) in the sight of God is that which is done regularly." (Bukhari)

* Rasoolillah (SAW) said: "The first to be summoned to Paradise on the Day of Resurrection will be those who praise God in (both) prosperity and adversity." [Tirmidhi]

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said: "Do you know who is a poor person? A poor person in my community is someone who will come on the Day of Resurrection backed with prayers, fasting, regular charity, and pilgrimage, but also with a number of injustices to others, such as abusing this one, taking the property of that one, slandering someone, hitting another, or shedding the blood of someone else. Thereafter, (his) good deeds will be taken one after one and will be given to (those) who were wronged by him. [Muslim] 

* The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "A time will come upon the people in which a person among them practicing his Religion with perseverance will be like one clutching onto a cinder." (Tirmidhi)

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said: Shouldn’t I tell you about an act that is more virtuous then your fasting, salat and alms? The Sahaba said: Why not? He said: To correct (relationships) amongst yourselves as dissension amongst is shear (of Deen). [Tirmidhi]

* The Messenger of Allah (Allah grant him blessings and peace) said, "A time will come upon the people in which a person among them practicing his Religion with perseverance will be like one clutching onto a cinder." - Reported by Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud 

* Abdullah ibn Haarith radiyallahu anhu reports, “I did not see anyone who smiled more than Rasoolullah (SAW).” [Tirmidhi]

* Rasoolillah (SAW) said: "The best (Jihad) is (to speak) a word of justice to an oppressive ruler." Abu-Dawud)

" Give glad tidings to this ummah of splendour, religion, high rank, victory and prevalence on earth. Whoever does the deeds of the Hereafter to gain some worldly benefit, will have no share of the Hereafter." (Ahmad) 

* Rasoolillah (SAW) said: "When a servant of God is accustomed to worship Him in a good manner, then becomes (unable to so because of illness), the angel who watches over him is told to record (good) deeds equivalent to those that he did when he was well, until God sets him free from his illness or takes him in death." [Tirmidhi]

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said: "Do you know who is a poor person? A poor person in my community is someone who will come on the Day of Resurrection backed with prayers, fasting, regular charity, and pilgrimage, but also with a number of injustices to others, such as abusing this one, taking the property of that one, slandering someone, hitting another, or shedding the blood of someone else. Thereafter, (his) good deeds will be taken one after one and will be given to (those) who were wronged by him. [Muslim]

* A person is approached [by the angels of punishment] in the grave from the legs then the legs say: “You cannot approach him from here for he used to stand on us reciting Surat al-Mulk”; when they approach his chest it says: “You cannot approach him from here for he preserved Surat al-Mulk in me”; and when they approach his head it says: “You cannot approach him from here for he used to recite Surat al-Mulk with me.” Hence this Sura is the Immunizer (al-Mani`a), it immunizes one from the punishment of the grave. It is mentioned in the Torah as Surat al-Mulk also. If anyone recites it in the night he has accomplished a great deal and has excelled! [al-Bayhaqi]

* When you meet someone who has performed the pilgrimage, greet him, shake hands with him and tell him to ask forgiveness for you before he enters his house, for he has been forgiven." (Tirmidhi)

* The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "A person once went to visit his brother in another town, and God sent an Angel to wait for him on his way. The angel met the man and said to him: 'Where do you intend to go?' The man said: 'I intend to go to my brother in this town.' The angel then said: 'Have you done any favor for him (the repayment of which you intend to receive)?' The man replied: 'No, except that I love him for the sake of God, the Exalted and Glorious.' Thereupon the angel said: 'I am a messenger to you from God (to inform you) that God loves you as you love him (for His sake).'" [Muslim]

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said: Allah the Almighty said: I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed. (Bukhari & Muslim)

* Rasoolillaah (SAW) said: When a child of Aadam gets up in the morning all the limbs humble themselves before the tongue and say: Have taqwa (piety/fear) of Allaah for our sake, for we are dependant on you, If you are straight/upright, we are straight and If you are crooked, we are crooked. [Tirmidhi]

Rasoolullaah (SAW) said: If anyone guarantees me what s between their jaws (control their tongue from backbiting, slandering e.t.c.) and between their legs (protect their private parts from adultery, fornication e.t.c. ), I shall guarantee for them Jannah (Paradise). [Bukhari]

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said:
"The Hour will not be established until
(1) till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine,
(2) till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allah's Apostle,
(3) till the religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of Religious scholars)
(4) earthquakes will increase in number
(5) time will pass quickly,
(6) afflictions will appear,
(7) Al-Harj, (i.e., killing) will increase,
(8) till wealth will be in abundance ---- so abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody should accept his Zakat, and whenever he will present it to someone, that person (to whom it will be offered) will say, 'I am not in need of it,
(9) till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings,
(10) till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say, 'Would that I were in his place
(11) and till the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: (As Allah said,) 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness) through its Faith.' (6.158)
And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to his mouth but will not be able to eat it."

* The best Jihad is speaking the truth to an unjust ruler" (Reported by Ahmad)

"When you see my community too intimidated by an oppressor to tell him, you are a tyrant, then you may as well say goodbye to then. " (Abu Dawud)

* After having praised the almighty Abu Bakr (RA) said " O People you recite the verse which reads , 'O you who believe you are responsible for yourselves' [Al Mai'dah : Ayah 105]. But we have heard the messenger of Allah (SAW) say " People who do not change something wrong when they see it are on the verge of a sweeping punishment from Allah" (Ibn Majah)
 

* "The first to be summoned to Paradise on the Day of Resurrection will be those who praise God in (both) prosperity and adversity." (Tirmidhi)

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said: "O people, Greet others in peace, feed (the poor and needy), behave kindly to your relatives, offer prayer when others are asleep, and (thus) enter Paradise in peace." (Tirmidhi)

* Rasoolillah(SAW) said: "The shuhadaa'(martyrs) are five: the one who dies of plague, the one who dies of a stomach disease, the one who drowns, the one who is crushed by a falling wall, and the one who is killed for the sake of Allaah." (Bukhari & Muslim)

* "Allah is kind and likes kindness. He bestows upon kindness that which He does not bestow upon harshness or anything else other than kindness and tenderness" (Muslim)

"Softness beautifies things, and when that softness is taken away they lose thier glamour." (Muslim)

"Charity does not diminish wealth: One who forgives, and one who humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah exalts him in rank." (Muslim)

"Do not abuse the dead because they have found what they have sent forward." (Bukhari)

"Allah has no mercy on one who has no mercy for others" (Bukhari and Muslim)

"One who is devoid of kindness is devoid of all good" (Muslim)

"A Muslim is a person who does not harm another person with his tongue or his hands, and Muhajer (one who avoids) is he who leaves that which Allah has forbidden" (Bukhari and Muslim)

"The thing that which make the majority of the people enter Paradise is piety to God and good manners." (Tirmidhi)

"Allah the Merciful shows mercy upon the merciful people. So show mercy upon the earthly creatures so that One who is in Heaven should show mercy on you." (Abu Dawud)

"On the Day of Judgment Allah the Most High will ask: where those people are who love each other for the sake of My glory? This day I am going to shelter them in the shade provided by Me. Today there is no shade except my shade." (Muslim)

"Powerful is not he who knocks the other down. Indeed powerful is he who controls himself in a fit of anger." (Bukhari and Muslim)

A man requested the Prophet (pbuh) to advise him. The Prophet (pbuh) said "do not be overwhelmed by anger." The man repeated his request for advice several times. Every time the Prophet said: "Do not be overwhelmed by anger." (Bukhari)

"All created beings are Allah's needies. So the most loved one of Allah is he who shows kindness to his needies." (Bayhaqi)

"The most perfect amongst believers in faith is he who is the best in manners and kindest to his wife" (Tirmidhi)

* "Rasulillah (SAW) said: “Do not delay in three things: Salaah when it's time has set in, burial when the bier is ready and marriage of a solitary woman when her match is found.” (Tirmidhi)

* If you guarantee me six things on your part, I shall guarantee you Paradise.
   1) Speak the truth when you talk,
   2) keep a promise when you make it,
   3) when you are trusted with something fulfill your trust,
   4) avoid sexual immorality,
   5) lower your gaze (in modesty),
   6) and restrain your hands from injustice."  (Al-Tirmidhi, # 1260)

* "Three things that I swear to be true are that a man's property does not become less on account of (giving) charity; that when a man is wronged and bears it patiently, God will give him great honor on that account; and that when a man (begs without need), God opens for him a door toward poverty." (Al-Tirmidhi)

*  "Whosoever relieves from a believer some grief pertaining to this world, Allah will relieve from him some grief pertaining to the Hereafter. Whosoever alleviates the difficulties of a needy person who cannot pay his debt, Allah will alleviate his difficulties in both this world and the Hereafter. Whosoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter. Allah will aid a servant (of His) so long as the servant aids his brother. Whosoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. No people gather together in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, the angels surround them, and Allah makes mention of them amongst those who are in His presence. Whosoever is slowed down by his deeds will not be hastened forward by his lineage."

*  Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: Allah's Apostle(SAW) said, "I have been given five things which were not given to any amongst the Prophets before me. These are:
   - Allah made me victorious by awe (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey.
   - The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum. Therefore my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.
   - The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me (and was not made so for anyone else).
   - Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation exclusively but I have been sent 1o all mankind.
   - I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection.)
[Sahih Bukhari Number 429]

*  From Sa`d (RA), who said that Allaah's Messenger(SAW) said: Indeed Allaah aids this Ummah due to its weak ones, through their supplication, their Prayer and their purity of intention. [Reported by an-Nasaa`ee and others]

*  "The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said "Four characteristics constitute anyone who possesses them a sheer hypocrite, and anyone who possesses one of them possesses a characteristic of hypocrisy till he abandons it:
     - when he is trusted he betrays his trust,
     - when he talks he lies,
     - when he makes a covenant he acts treacherously and
     - when he quarrels he abuses."  [Bukhari & Muslim]

*  Narrated Mu'adh al-Juhani The Prophet (SAW) said: If anyone recites the Qur'an and acts according to its contents, on the Day of Judgment his parents will be given to wear a crown whose light is better than the light of the sun in the dwellings of this world if it were among you. So what do you think of him who acts according to this? (Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 8, Number 1448)

*  The Prophet (SAW) said "It will be said to the companion of the Qur'an on the Day of Judgment, 'Recite and ascend (in Paradise), recite slowly (or with tajweed) as you used to do in your earthly life, for your place (or station in Paradise) will be where (you are when) the last verse of your recitation ends." (Tirmidhi, Ahmed, Ibn majah, and Abu Dawud)

*  Abu Hurayrah (RA) reports that Rasulullah (SAW) said, "Verily, Allah, the Exalted, becomes angry, and His anger is provoked when a person does what Allah has declared unlawful". (Bukhari and Muslim)

*   Narrated Masruq: I asked 'Aisha which deed was most loved by the Prophet. She said, "A deed done continuously..." (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 21, Number 232)

*  Narrated Aisha: The Prophet said, "Such a person as recites the Quran and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). And such a person exerts himself to learn the Quran by heart, and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward." (Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 459)

*  Hazrat Abu Umamah (raa) relates that he heard the Holy Prophet (saws) say: "Study the Quran (regularly) for it will act as an intercessor and entreat for its readers on the Day of Judgement. (Muslim)

Hasan Basari reported in Mursal form that Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: He whom death overtakes while he is engaged in acquiring knowlege with a view to reviving Islam with the help of it there will be one degree between him and the Prophets in Paradise. (Darimi)

Ibn 'Abbas reported Allah's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying: A single scholar of religion is more formidable against a devil than a thousand devout persons. (Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

Ka'b b. Malik reported Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying: He who acquires knowledge in order to fall into polemics with other scholars and prove his superiority over them or to dispute with the ignorant persons or to attract the attention of the people, Allah would throw him in fire. (Tirmidhi)

Al-Ahwas b. Hakim reported on the authority of his father that he asked Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the evil. Whereupon he said: Don't ask me about evil but ask me about good. He repeated this thrice after which he said: Behold the worst beings are the wicked among the learned ones and the best are the virtuous among the learned. (Darimi)

'Aun reported that 'Abullah b. Mas'ud said: There are two avaricious persons who are never contented. The man of learning and the man of the world, but the two are not equal; the man of knowledge increases in submission to Allah and as for the man of the world, he becomes head-strong and defiant. 'Abdullah then recited: Nay man is surely rebellious when he sees himself free from want (Quran 46:6). Concerning the other he cited the verse: Surely those of His servants who are possessed of knowledge, fear Allah (Quran 35:28). (Darimi)

*  Abu Hurayrah (RA) reports that Rasulullah (SAW) said: “A man utters a word, which he does not utter but to make men laugh there by, out of vain pleasure; he will fall down for this further than the distance between heaven and earth, for he slips more by his tongue than by his feet.” (Bukhari)

* Abu Sa'eed (RA) narrated from Rasulullah (SAW), “ When the son of Adam gets up at dawn, all his limbs address and urge the tongue saying; 'Fear Allah about us because we are with you; if you are straight we shall also be straight and if you are crooked, we will also become crooked.' "(Tirmidhi)

* Sufyan bin Abdullah reported: I enquired: "O Messenger of Allah (SAW), what is it that what you fear for me?" He caught hold of tongue and said: "This".(Tirmidhi)
